Starter Flock ... ALL BUT ONE SOLD!

This is NOT a new starter flock, but I have added a bonus for folks to the previously advertised starter flock.

The ewes will run with a vasectomized ram (teaser) to be sure that all are cycling. They will then be separated from the teaser and injected with Lutalyse twice, at 10 day intervals. After the second injection, the teaser ram will be re-introduced with a marking harness on. When the ewe is first marked, she will be put with the ram selected for her for breeding. All four ewes should be due to lamb within 5 days of March 22, 2010.

I will be transporting sheep to New Brunswick, hopefully the week of November 16th and can transport these sheep at that time to points in between, or for pick-up in Deerville, NB.

These ewes are ONLY available as a group at the moment.

This is an opportunity to obtain fine genetics for a new flock, or to add new genetics to an existing flock.
SOLD ... WillowGarden Fuji (above) is a light grey blettet, 2006 ewe (S 25483). She is out of Great Plains Kilda, an F1 Lightning ewe and WillowGarden Duke Ellington, a very soft emsket ram. She will be exposed to V Creek Leo (below), a non-fading Dillon gulmoget with a LOT of UK genetics ((S 26365).

SOLD ... Harmony Marsh Ariel (above), is a 2008 moorit ewe (S 28970) from lines that tend to hold their colour without white fibres growing in. Her genetics include Holly, Greyling, Jamie, Keir Gordon, and Drum Jings. She will be exposed to WillowGarden David Niven (below). David's genetics are out of Hornblower, Dillon, Lightning, and many other UK rams. His dam is WillowGarden Opal (S 28270) and his sire is FirthofFifth Lassig (S 28341), an F2 Jericho ram.

SOLD ... Hopeful Kaluha (above) is a 2008 black Gulmoget, katmoget ewe (S 28356). She is out of Canadian gulmoget lines that don't display the side dusting of some other gulmoget lines. She is a granddaughter of Great Plains Baxter, one of the most perfect rams I have ever seen! She will be bred to North Wind Holiday (below), (S 13639), an F1 Holly who remains moorit without white fibres and also remains very soft. Lambs will be either gul or kat ... and can be black or moorit based. Her ewe lamb out of this pairing last Fall is a DEFINITE keeper ... :-)

NOT SOLD ... SO WILL RETAIN FOR HER GENETICS ... :-) ... The final ewe in this group is WillowGarden Mandella AI (above), a 2007 F1 Hornblower, F3 Timothy, F3 Greyling, white ewe (S 25741). Mandella is black based and will throw 50% of her lambs as solid coloured when bred to a solid ram. She will be exposed to Firthof Fifth Aman AI (below) (S 25035), an F1 Orion mioget ram. Aman's lambs last Spring were awesome. He carries the modifier, but is moorit based.
This is an opportunity folks! Let me know if you are interested.

Hi Bill,

Hey, I tried e-mailing you.
How can NASSA get copies available for sale of the Canada AGM? I had recently recommended the DVD to some people, but I don't see it advertised in the store.
Thanks!
