Well ... I finally made the decision and will have my woodstove with the BAD chimney ... replaced with this 'multi-fuel- stove'. It burns all types of wood and bark pellets, corn, and other grain. AND ... it is Canadian Made!
As is often the case, the best price and service I found was local ... right here in the County ... at The County Fireplace Company, in Picton.
Installation is set for October 29th. Pretty cool, eh! I am soooooo looking forward to a winter of being WARM ... without splitting wood, stacking it, tarping it, carrying it in when it is bitterly cold ...
Am I getting old? Perhaps. Am I happy to be rid of dealing with firewood for heat? YOU BET!
Life ... is good!

I love my pellet stove. Just make sure when you buy pellets that you don't get some that are too long - they can jam up the augur that feeds the pellets into the firebox. But it is so nice to only have to load it up once a day, makes it easier to use when you are away.
