Lessons From New Years Eve!

Well, last night I spent New Year's Eve with Anna, Jamie, Mark, and of course, Pete.  To quote Anna, we had a 'fabulous party' ... but Grandpa learned a few things.

1.  Young kids don't always like fancy food!  The Swiss Cheese Fondue ... had to be replaced with a Plum Sauce Fondue, a Cheez Whiz Fondue, and a Ketchup Fondue.  Oh the elegance of it all ... LOL

2.  Chocolate Fondue is a definite hit, but pretty messy.

3.  It is unlikely that a one year old and a three year old are going to go to sleep right after enjoying a Chocolate Fondue.

BUT ... it was still a New Year's Eve that will be fondly remembered ... and they DID sleep in until 7 AM today!
Anna ... enjoyed the chocolate,
Jamie ... REALLY enjoyed the chocolate,
Mark ... was quite 'civilized' with the chocolate fondue ... :-)!

Happy 2011 folks!
It WILL be a good one as long as we all remember that ... life is good!
