What Do I know Anyway? ... :-)

Well ... Great Plains Tulip wasn't first to lamb!
It was Beechtree Hazel, a first timer, bred to Beechtree Calder.
Welcome ... WillowGarden David Austin. David will be for sale at weaning.
As you have guessed, the theme for names this year is hardy rose varieties.

WOHOO!! FIRST LAMB!!! How exciting! Congrats! I'm still waiting ANY MOMENT for my first lambs but all of them have been good actresses and all false alarms :)

Congratulations, Bill! I'm hoping our first one will wait given the blizzard-y conditions!

Way to go! Congratulations to both you, Bill, and ewe, Hazel!
I can't wait to see more pictures of all the babies.

And may your lambing season be "Slicker than greased goose..."...well, may it go smoothly for everyone there at Willow Garden! :)

Congratulations on your natural colored BFL ram lamb. What a great way to kick off lambing! Still waiting here, hopefully next week we'll see our first lambs. Also, thanks for posting the udder photos of the BFL ewes, ours aren't that big yet, and I'm not real sure when they are due, but they are definitely pregnant. :-)
