I now post on ...
billstearman.com
This site remains and mostly documents my life as a farmer. I now identify as a quilt maker.
... ... Here, in my own quiet little space on the web ... I'll share my sheepish thoughts ... and some of my quilts ... with the world ... or at least with anyone who is interested ... :-)
Above is Kayla, waiting for a belly rub; Nick wondering what he is supposed to do; and Kate with Anna tucked in a snugli, inside her coat. Oh dear! This is Kate, Anna and I with Nick and Kayla. I MUST buy a new coat. I had NO idea that it looked this bad!!! Wondering where supper is ... And ... Nick ... at work with his sheep ... sort of ... :-).
How wonderful that Kate gets the baby outside. Those snuglis are the greatest! I have a barn coat that looks worse than yours and I have NO intention of buying a new one...
Your dogs are incredible! They look so sweet and gentle ~ yet I know what fierce protectors they can be. After reading so many sad stories on some of the lists, I have to ask: have you ever had a problem with any of your LGD's pulling wool from your flock or hurting your sheep? If not, what do you attribute it to?
